The 8 Reasons of Hair Loss and Hair Fall

Have you experienced washing your hair during a bath then suddenly realizing you’ve plucked a number of hair strands? It is really a great mishap to experience a hair fall problem because it might increase its severity which may turn to hair loss or baldness. But before you cram and craze yourself with doing some hair fall control, you must first understand why you have hair fall. There could be several reasons but few of the top reasons are the following:

·         Lack of proper nutrition – Actually, there is a term for a hair fall and hair loss caused by a lack of proper nutrition. This is called "telogen effluvium". Insufficiency of some nutrients in the body could really lead to this problem. The nutrients that you should gain for your body to promote hair growth are protein, fatty acids, vitamin E and iron. Take note that a straight four-month deficiency of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty oils could lead to hair fall and worst, hair loss. Also, you must avoid crash diets and processed foods.
·         Medications such as steroids – Be very careful when using steroids as other steroids such as anabolic steroids, anadrol, trenbolone, dianabol and winstrolare highly androgenic and could attack your hair follicles. Advisably, it is best that you always consult your doctor who can prescribe another hair fall solution.
·         Stress – There are three types of hair loss which are associated with stress. They are telogen effluvium, trichotillomania and alopecia areata. Natural hair fall control in dealing with this is through simply getting enough sleep and rest.
·         Split ends – When you have split tends, it tends to denote that you will also have hair fall. Why is that so? It is because split ends go up to your hair shaft which result to breakage and when you have breakage, your hair breaks off thus making your hair fall out.
·         Prolonged illness – Prolonged illness could actually result to severe hair loss. Illnesses associated with hair fall are lupus, HIV, cancer, late stage syphilis, muscular dystrophy, thyroid problems, pituitary gland diseases and heavy metal poisoning.
·         Hormonal changes–Particular sex hormones ignite some patterns of hair fall and hair loss. Women are more susceptible to hair fall or hair loss associated with hormonal changes because they may undergo pregnancy, menopause, childbirth and discontinuation of birth control pills which may lead to an imbalance.

·         Heredity – Hair loss and even hair fall associated with genes is called androgenetic alopecia. This is because your hair growth cycle shortens because of the genes that you might have probably acquired from your family members. It’s better to trace your family tree to see if there are cases of hair loss and hair fall to any of your family members.
